. There was an exceptionally large atI tendance at a complimentary social at Konini last night, tendered by footballers and residents throughout the district to A. Mahony, a member of the All Black team for Australia. Mahonv, who is the first Bush player chosen. t« represent New Zealand, was the recipient of numerous presentations, including a travelling bag and wallet.
