SELLING THE CLIP.
BETTER PRICES LOCALLY. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") DUNEDIN, this day. Latest wool sales reports from London confirm the belief that New Zealand growers who elected to sell their wool in the land of its origin have fared better than their neighbours who preferred to ship to England and take the chance of the market there. From the first of the season such has been the experience, and it is now more pronounced than at any time. Beckoning in costs of transit prices obtained in London have been right through lower than tTiose procured in New Zealand. There is also the consideration important to growers that by selling in New Zealand the returns are quicker.
