DRIVING WHILE DRUNK.

"NOT USED TO BEER." At the Onehunga Police Court yesterdar. before Messrs. J. E. (Joraeil and -J. E. Green. J.P.'s. W. -Johnsen pleaded guilty to driving a motor car while intoxicated. His defence was that he left a wedding party late one night after consuming three '"* beers." not being used to taking liquor. His car collided with a stationary motor vehicle at the comer of the street. Sergeant J. A. Cruiekshank said the visibility was bad that night, and the damage to the other vehicle was sli.sht. Defendant was convicted and fined £10. The Bench declined to suppress his name.
