XAPIER, this day.
At the inquest into the death of Francis O'Donnell, who was drowned while inspecting flood damage at Meanee on May 19 last, the coroner congratulated Messrs. Burgess and Muir, especially the latter, on their efforts to rescue O'Donnell.
