There is considerable activity in the land market at present, and a'number of farms have changed hands. At Motumaoho, Mrs. Stewart and Miss Henderson have disposed of their holding of 40 acres to Mr. C. & King, of Waharoa,* and Mr.. Scrivener's 60 acres has been purchased by Mr, H. Kenyon, late of. Te Aroha. Mr. B: U. Baiio\v's farm of 190 acres has-been sold to Mr. J. Woods, of Tauhei and Te Awamutu, and Mr. J. Barlow. Mr. W. Smith has bought Mr. R. H. Hinton's 1 -property of 500 acres. Mr.. J. . Bowers has sold his farm on the borough boundary to Mr.. D. Craig, of Cambridge. Mr. D.T. Da vies, of Kerebne, has purchased Messrs. Ferguson and Williams' farm of 170 acres at Piako. Mr. Jan\es McHardy lias sold his farm of 200 acres at Kereonc to.Mr. J.
