CYCLING.
KAIKOHE CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) KAIKOHE, Friday. The Kaikohe Cycling Club held their fortnightly race when another heat tor the points prize for the season was run. The course was along the Mangakahia Road to the Xgapuhi Station ' Road and back, a distance of 6i miles.. Mr. Garrnonsway was very successful with his hand capping, all the riders turning the bend into the home stretch within sight of each other. An all-out race to the winning post ended by A.' Hui beating' the opposition by l-os. Results:— ... i ; Ardmore Silver Cup.—A. Hui (4m) 1, O Hows (4m 20s), 2; W. I. Hanies (2m 30s) 3 Won by a wheel. Net time o£ winner; 20.58 l-sf Second man. 21.18 2-5. Junior Race.—D. C.-MncLean (scr), 1; C Goodhill (lm 465), 2. Won by two lengths. Time, 21.39.
