LADIES' INTERCLTJB GAMES
Played at Middlemore yesterday an interdub match between teams representing the Titirangi and Auckland Ladies' Clubs was won by Auckland by 7 matches to 3, two finishing all square. Following are the details, Titirangi players being mentioned lirst:—Mrs. Deiphton lost to Miss Culling, (> and 4 ; Mrs. Ilosking and Miss MacCormick, all square: Mrs. R. Wilson lost to Miss Rathbone, 2 and 1 ; Mrs. Alison and Mrs. .T. TV'ilson, all square; Mrs. Boattie lost to Mrs. Ferguson. 2 and 1 ; Miss Napier defeated Mrs. Marshall, 2 and 1 ; Mrs. Finlay lost to Miss Hamlin, 2 and 1; Mrs. Shroff lost to Miss Bayly, 3 and 2. The foursomes resulted as follows:— Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Hosking lost to Miss Culling and Miss Rathbone, 2 down ; Mrs. Deighton and Mrs. Shroff defeated Miss MacCormick and Mrs. Marshall, 1 up : Mrs. Alison and Mrs. Beattie lost to Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Ferguson, 6 and 4; Miss Napier and Mrs. Finlay won from Miss Bayly and Miss Hamlin, by default. TAURANGA CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, Friday. The best cards handed in for the Tauran?a Cluh's medal match for May were as follow:—B grade. Miss E. Goodyear. Ill— 24 —87 ; C grade, Miss C. Hall, 116—36 — 80. On Wednesday next Canadian foursomes will be plaved over 12 holes. The draw i 3 as follows: —Mrs. Maltby and Miss Saunders, v. Miss Hall and Miss Hartley; Miss Fox and Miss D. Armitage v. others.
