MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

Sir Joseph Ward is due back from Kotorua this evening. The Postmaster-General (Hon. J. B Donald) is in Auckland. The Minister of Railways (Hon. W. B. Taverner) returned South last evening, after inspecting the Pokeno-Paeroa railway route. He was accompanied by the Minister of Health (Hon. A. J. Stallworthy). The Minister of Education (Hon. H. Atmore) will go to Te Aroha to-morrow to attend the laying of the foundationstone of the Roman Catholic School there. On Monday morning he will leave for the North. In the afternoon he will open the new "consolidated" school, at Ruawai, where several small district schools have been grouped. The Minister will proceed to Dargaville, where he will be received by the Mayor, Mr. F. A. Jones, and suitably entertained by the residents. On Tuesday morning he will make an inspection of the scholastic institutions of the town, infant, primary and high schools. After lunch he will go on to Whangarei,
