ANNUAL MEETING,
FINANCIAL POSITION DISCUSSED

MORRINSVILLE, Friday.
There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of parishioners of -St. Matthew's (Anglican) Church, the vicar, Rev. F. W. Wilkes, presiding.
In the annual report it was stated that the general financial support had been ' poor. Expenditure for the year hid been some £115 in excess of the receipts,. and the accumulated deficiency of, the general fund was now approximately £300. For the year the ordinary offertories increased by £35, but subscriptions fell by £15. ' The election of officers • resulted: —- Vicar a warden, Mr. C. M. Gummer; people's warden, Mr. A. H. J. Wyatt; ■Vestrymen, Messrs. J, M. Allen, R. B. Morton, J. H. Wyatt, N. Barker, I'. Goble, C. Garrick, J. E. Hillary, D. Bell, »S. H. ' Wilding and E. Greensmith; fynodsman, Mr. J. M. Allen; auditor, . Mr. W. Reason. Messrs. C. M. Gummer,-' A. H. J. Wyatt and J.. E; Hillary were •lected to the rural SSSiiery board- .K> j
