ANNUAL MEETING,

FINANCIAL POSITION DISCUSSED

MORRINSVILLE, Friday.

There was a good attendance at the annual meeting of parishioners of -St. Matthew's (Anglican) Church, the vicar, Rev. F. W. Wilkes, presiding.

In the annual report it was stated that the general financial support had been ' poor. Expenditure for the year hid been some £115 in excess of the receipts,. and the accumulated deficiency of, the general fund was now approximately £300. For the year the ordinary offertories increased by £35, but subscriptions fell by £15. ' The election of officers • resulted: —- Vicar a warden, Mr. C. M. Gummer; people's warden, Mr. A. H. J.
