BURGLAR SENT TO GAOL. INDUCED BOY TO STEAL. STUART'S SALUTARY SENTENCE. Tlireo charges of breaking, entering and theft of various articles worth £2 14/ from • dwellings at Titirangi oh April 11, brought against William Ernest Stuart (29), a labourer, at the Police Court this morning, were reduced to charges of common theft, and dealt with summarily. "These are not heinous charges, although they are fairly serious in their own way," said Sub-Inspector McCarthy.
