ENFORCED HOLIDAY.
lILAHD TIU PATIENTS.
READY FOR DISCHARGE
A new complication has arisen in connection with the . Maui Poniare 'flu patients, who were brought ashore and taken to "Cintra," as their discharge from that temporary hospital will not be until to-morrow, and by then the motor ship with largely a new crew will be on her way back to Samoa.
On inquiry being made this morning, it was learned that it was proposed to board the men in Auckland until arrangements could be made to send them back to their homes, and it may mean keeping them in Auckland until the Maui Pomare gets back here. The question of cost of upkeep of the men is not likely to cause any concern, seeing that they were employed by the New Zealand Government.
