MASTERTON, this day,

Oven Lewellyn Udy was charged in tlie Supreme I ourt to-day with attempting to do actual bodily harm, and with doing actual bodily harm, by stabbing his father on a larm at Carterton. After about an hour and a-half's retirement the grand jury brought in a true bill against Udy of assault with intent to use force to do actual bodily harm. Accused pleaded not guilty to this .barge. and his trial is proceeding.
