HORSES ATTRACT VISITORS

SYDNEY, this day.
The Sydney Royal Show was opened yesterday in ideal weather. Horses furnished the principal attraction of the ring events. In all its phases the show is declared to equal anything ever seen here.
The show covers 80 acres and is larger and more comprehensive than ever. Among the thoroughbred stallions exhibited, the New Zealand horse Thespian, now owned by Mr. H. R. Munro, is attracting much attention. The display of Aberdeen and Angus cattle is the largest and best in Australia. Champion honours went to the four-year-old bull Hustler of Koira, imported from New Zealand and exhibited from Melbourne. The champion cow is Mr. H.
