AUSTRALIAN TRIP.

Report Of Film Stars' Journey Denied. FAIRBANKS AND WIFE. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 10 a.m.) LOS ANGELES, March 1. Inquiry by the Australian Press Association at the United Artists' and Universal studios has brought forth an official denial of the report, circulated in Australia, that Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford and Reginald Denny are planning an Australian trip. It was definitely stated that none of these artists has any present intention of visiting Australia. Arthur Zellner, personal secretary to Douglas Fairbanks, gave the Australian Press Association the following statement: "The report that Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks contemplate a visit to Australia is without foundation. e regret such a rumour as this, because a similar one several years ago gave the people of Australia the erroneous impression that Mr. Fairbanks was deliberately perpetrating a hoax, whereas he had no more knowledge of it than he has of the source of the present one. We thank you for your interest in the matter."
