Limerick left Wellington yesterday for Sydney for tiie autumn racing, lie will commence hi? campaign at Kosehill. Hifirst race will be. the Law son Stakes, and his next the Chipping Norton Stake>. He won both these races last season. There is <1 possibility of his contesting three races at Eandwick. and it is hoped he will meet Gothic in the All Aged Stakes, oik mile. A visit to Brisbane to contest the King's Cup. which he won at Kandwick a year ago, is on the card-, but much depends upon how he stands the trip. It is not likely that he will iiicct Aussie in the Ormond Hold Cup at Hastings at the end of the autumn. F. 1). Jones, of course, was in charge of Limerick, and he took with him also Paquito and Catkin. Paquito appears to be a very promising sort, but Catkin might not be sent at his best unless the tracks become soft. •T. McComhe left for Sydney yesterday with Crown Area and Moorgas. High Disdain won at New Plymouth last month, and Jet Black is a promising maiden.
