CHARLTON—CARLTON. The marriage of Afiss Kiloen Carlton, \oiingest daughter of Mr. iUI( | -\] rs j (adton of Selwvn Street, Onelmn-a, to -Mr Aldan 'Charlton. eldest soil of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Charlton, Alnwick, Knrr.w«* «-'lcbrated in St. Barnabas' Church, Mount Eden, Wednesday evening. Entering the church on the arm of iier brother, the bride wore a t unrulier frock of ivory £<*or£otto. Jt was fashioned with a tight bodice, attached to a full skirt, which fell to ankle length at the back, and was composed of tiny frills from waistline to hem. Jhe embroidered tulle veil which formed the train was held in place bv a coronet of orange blossoms. A circlet of blossoms was also worn round her arm. She carried a shower bouquet of white chrysanthemums and carnations with touches of pink. The bridesmaid! Miss .Mia Thom, wore a dainty frock of duchess blue georgette made 'with a tiered skirt, the tiers being finished with folds of satin. The lorn* tie effect was caught on the shoulder with a satin posy. She wore a drooping hat of luvisca straw in peach shade Liimmed with tones of peach and apricot and carried a shower bouquet of pink carnations and „ chrysanthemums, riie duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Redvers Charlton, brother ot the bridegroom. The reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Mrs. Carlton receiving her guests in a frock of navy (due and white georgette.
