SUPERINTENDENT RETIRES

Major H. C. Nutsford, who has been in ?wge of the Veterans' Home, Mount Roskill, for nine yeara, and Mrs. Nuts- !? r di who has acted as matron of the Home, will relinquish their positions at the end of March. They were farewelled with an entertainment which was Arranged largely for the benefit of the old soldiers living at the Home. The Regent Theatre's Operatic Orchestra, »nder Mr. Maurice Guttridge, pteyed musical selections, and were enthusiastically received. Tributes were paid to Major Nntelord's work, and a handbag wae Jt*•ented to Mrs. Nutsford, on behalf W *ne old soldiers and other friends.
