COUNTRY COURT.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) MAUNOATUROTO, Wednesday. Before Mr. Luxford, S.M., at Maungaturoto, M. Finlayeon (Mr. M. X. Skelton) sued M." R. Williams (Mr. Trimmer) for £10 damages for injuries •to sheep worried by defendants dogJudgment for £4 10/ and coste was given to plaintiff. R. H. Skelton (Mr. Hall Skelton) .-(led Wm. T. Mooney (Mr. Thorne) for £.">e 14/3 for timber supplied from plaintiff's mill to defendant. Judgment was given for plaintiff, with costs. Wrn. and Eliz James (Mr. Thorn) sued R. H. Skelton (Mr. Hall Skelton) for balance of royalties, £49 2/6. Defendant said he owed a balance on royalty accounts between the parties of £12. He had tried to effect a settlement with plaintiffs without success. He piicl this amount into Court. Judgment for defendant was given for the balance, with eostt; against plaintiffs.
