AUCKLAND GUN CLUB,

The Auckland Gun Club's shoot on Sat ttrdny was largely attended. The Pakuriinpi farmers' shoot created great interest, A. Dunn winning with •"> birds .on r.f 7. I>. Hartley was making his first appearance as a member, and Hazard maoo a reappearance after an absence if rive years. The first sever, birds' sweepstake was won outright by A. K. Maerodi". Hartley. A. Hannigau. and M. Delich. all off 12yds. with the possible. Kach shooter got his birds with the first barrel. The first double rise match was divided by A. K. .Macredie. l!iyd*. F. 11. Hazard. 14yds. I\ N. Gallic. 11yds. and A. Ilatinigan. I ."'yds. with seven birds out of ten. The second double rise match was won outright by P. N. Gallic. 11yds. with eight out of fen. The aggregate mutch, which will be concluded on March i>. is producing a most exciting contest, six members heing within one point of raeh other. Mr. .1. -Martin Wilson has donated to the club a trophy for competition at the Easter shoot and the I'akuranga farmers have also donated a special iro/iij.
