LAST SEASON'S EXCEEDED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. 'Die output from the Hikuraugi Dairy Co. last month was 196 tons as against 148 tons for January, 1928. For the season to January 31 the total output has been 934 tons compared with 7»>S tons for the previous season.

The payout shows an equally satisfactory increase from £17,170 for January, 1*928, to £25,165 for last month. The price rose from 1/31 to 1/5$ for superfine butterfat.

The total payout for the present season to the end of January amounts to £118,051 as against £90.421 for the corresponding period of last year. WHANGAROA OUTPUT. INCREASED PRODUCTION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) KAEO, this day. The report of the Whangaroa Dairy Company shows an increase of nearly 8J tons in the output for January compared with January, 1928. The pay-out is at the rate of Is 4Jd per lb. for lineet and Is 4d for first jrrade butterfat. The. directors have decided to instal an up-to-date can-washing plant for next season. Inquiries are to be made regarding a self-contained freezing plant.
