BERLIN*, February 15. Ex Chancellor Wirth, writing to the Press, says things cannot continue as they have been recently or the ten years of development of democracy in Germany will end like the abdication of Libralism in Italy. The nightmare of the pa*t few weeks of fruitless negotiations for coalition was the prelude to Fascism.

The "Daily Telegraph's" Berlin correspondent points out that Dr. Wirth only spoke out what many responsible office holders have long whispered. Since the trivial fiasco which led to the Centriata' withdrawal from the Cabinet, fears have become certainties.
