CLAIMS STRESSED AT KAWHIA
MEMBERS EXPERIENCE THRILLS.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ! KAWHIA, Friday. On their arrival from Te Awamutu the members of the Main Highways Board were met by the chairman and members of the Kawbia County Council. The board was asked for a straightout grant to improve the Kmwhia to Kawa and the Lemon Point to Waitomo Caves mam highways, at an estimated cost of £200. Mr. McKenzie, replying for the board, •aid it was realised that work must be done at an early date for the safety of *he public. Even while the deputation **d been speaking, and remembering • J2J?
