WORK AT TE AROHA.

TE AROHA, this day.

The outside of the course proper, with the trestles well out, was available at Te Aroha thig morning for fast work. The going was hard.

Gazerin ran three furlonjrs in 395. Illingar finished full of running at the end of four furlongs in 53 l-ss. Blue Bonnet ran three furlongs in 39 2-ss. r

Maori Boy, with a good weight in the saddle, took 42s for three furlongs but could have done better. ° *

Orchus and Tanetoa finished together at the end of four furlongs in 53e. Glenstar and High Finance spurted home fast at the end of a round. Hakanoa, looking fresh, ran a mile in 1.4.».

Ti Tree and Lorient 11. covered seven furlongs in 1.32.
