THE FIELDS REVIEWED. . (By Telegraph.—Special to " Star.") DUKTSDIX, this day. The matching «f Limerick, Aussie and Rapier in the James Hazlett Memorial Cup to-morrow will be the main attraction on the concluding day of the Dunedin Jockey Club's autumn meeting Unfortunately they are the only three acceptors, other owners deciding not to pick up the gauntlet thrown down bv Limerick. In the Owhiro Hurdles Rangatahi should go better, while Amorist has only to jump more cautiously to be hard to head off. Umtali is most likely to upset calculations. Toawai will probably be elected favourite for the Presidents Handicap but most opposition is likely to come from Tembroney and Royal Flower. Pink Note's performance in the Dunedin Cup will bring him into most favour for the Jockey Club Handicap, but Royal Saxon would be handy at the finish if a strong rider were up.'Circulation reads best of the others. In the Flying Handicap Silver Paper deserves to go out favourite, but Paperchase or Meadow Lark will also probably be near at the finish.

Waving Corn will start favourite for the Waihola Handicap. Killorna will be better suited by the distance, while Wi«* Wag has only to reproduce his Waikou" aiti form to be dangerous. Night Lad won so easily at the Wellington meeting that he should again be at the head of affaire when the judge hoists the numbers after the Hopeful Handicap. Most trouble will come from Mealth and FrancoUn. Limerick will carry most money in the Hazlett Gold Cup, and he will find the distance more to his liking than Aussie who has not beaten the best class over a mile; in fact, Rapier's supporters contend that he will finish in front of Aussie, but on Publicans' Handicap form Aussie looks to be Limerick's only serious challenger. It should be a great contest despite the small field.

The meeting will conclude with the Abbotsford Welter, in which Full Feather, Tripaway and Wingatui will be best supported.
