GUILTY.
INTERFERRED WITH BOT. LAD'S ACTION COMMENDED BY JURY. "Guilty" was the verdict of the jury at the Supreme Court this morning in the case of Edward Charles Sadler, aged 4.'5, who was charged with interfering with a boy of 15 in a lane off Karangahape Road on November 3, 1928. His Honor, Mr. Justice Blair, heard the case, Mr. V. N. Hubble represented the Crown, and Mr. F. W. Schramm appeared for the prisoner. Mr. Hubble said that accused had accosted the complainant in a picture theatre. He later stopped the boy when he was going home. The boy told the Newton police and a trap was laid, with the result that the prisoner was arrested. After a short retirement the jury brought in a verdict of guilty. They commended the action of the boy.
