THE BEACH GARAGE.
A WEEK-END BACK. MORE LIKE A DORMITORY. A matter of importance from a heaHfc point of view was brought before tb# Manukau County Council this morning by Mr. J. S. Dickson, who drew attention to the fact that people at beach** were erecting motor garages there and using them to live in at week-ends. Mr. Page said he had seen one plaum where the building was more like a dormitory than a motor garage.. He ha 4 drawn the sanitary inspector's attention to the matter
Mr. Dickson said there were eight befe in that place, which surely tvas not sanitary.
The chairman, Mr. F. W. Waters, said this was going on all over the place, and on his suggestion the matter was referred to the borough solicitor.
