OISBORNE, Thursday. The summer meeting of the Poverty Bay Turf Club opened to-day in ideal weather before a large attendance. The going was fast. At the conclusion of the Turanga Stakes the judicial committee lield an inquiry into alleged interference with King Willonyx. and after hearing evidence suspended X. Trillo, rider of Superb King, for three months for careless riding. The totalisator investments were £13,528. against £11,525 on the first day last year, an increase of £2303.
