Drainage By-laws.—Dr. H. Chesson. medical officer of health, notified that the Department's drainage and plumbing regulations now applied to Birkenhead.

Eskdaie Road. —In order to provide a crossing from Eskdaie Road giving access to the cemetery reserve, the Waitemata County engineer. Mr. Andrew Murray, offered to arrange for the laying of the 20ft 9in earthenware pipes and the completion of the crossing if the borough would supply the pipes. This was agreed to.
