WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
SLOANE—GALBRAITH. A very pretty wedding took place on February 12, at the Geyser Hotel, Kotorua, when Miss Gvvenda Galbraith, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. VVni. Galbraith, of Kotorua, was married to Mr. George Sloane, of Morrinsville. TJie bride looked charming in a frock of white brocaded satin and georgette, frilled to the waist and large picture hat to match. She was carrying a beautiful bouquet of Christmas lilies and sweet peas. She was attended by her sister, Miss P. Galbraith, in powder blue and pale pink, and Miss Edna Wilson, in white georgette and lace. The bride's mother wore a handsome beige costume and large hat trimmed with wallflowers. Mrs. J. G. Phillips, of Auckland, was in floral crepe de chine Mrs. Corbett, in chainpa«ne Milanese dress- and Mrs. de Lucca, grandmother of the bride, wore a handsome dress of petunia and black brocaded satin. • There were a lar»e number of guests at the wedding breakfast.
