Appleyard. was formerly well known in advertising circles in Wellington. On leaving school in Petoiie. the late Mr. Appleyard was on the staff of Messrs. Kirkealdie and Stains. After serving in the war, he returned to his position, and in March. 1922. was appointed advertising manager.
In 1023 Mr. Applcyard joined the staff of the Ooldberg Advertising Agency, and later had charge of their art studio. In 1<127 lie accented a position with an advertising firm in Svdnev and later entered into business 0,, ],j s own account. He was a son of Mr H Appleyard. manager of the Pefme-llntt (Jass Board's works, ami was *> vear* of age. Arrangements have been made to bring the body to Wellington
