Four well-known resident s. of Tauranya were badly burnt yesterday when the launch caught lire after an oxjilosiou in Mercury Love, wliere she was lying at anchor. Tlie crew coin]iris'ed Captain Hlack, .Messrs. .Joseph. Merrilees and Hunt. All were injured. Captain Jilack liuiiljr in a serious condition.
Tlu> launch Kiucrald saw the blaze. and rescued the crow from their predicament, subsequently faking them to Mercury Bay, where tliey wi're admitted to the hospital. The launch Kmjjfish was salved, but she is in a bad condition.
