WAIHI, this day. In connection with the charge which was heard yesterday morning against Robert A. Samways of damaging a plate glass window and showcase, the magistrate (Mr. W. F. Platts) said he had decided to give accused another chance. He would be admitted to probation on condition that he did not enter billiard rooms, attend pictures or bo out after eight without his parents. A prohibition order would be issued and damage amounting to £0 would be required to be paid by the accused in instalments.
