TRANSACTIONS ON 'CHANGE.

Further sales were made this morning of Union Bank shaves at £13 8,0. and at the third call yesterday £3 3/ was paid tor Bank of Xew Zealand. Xew Zealand Insurance sold at £"2 S'. cum. div.. yesterday afternoon. These shares were quoted ex div. to-day, buyers uttering i-2 7 . Business was also done yesterday in Devonport Ferry shares at £1 4.1 Auckland Gas advanced this morning, sales being made at £14 .'*. tfules were also made tliis morning of Wellington Gas at £1 11 . and Westport Coal changed hands at £1 11 li. .Wailii shares continue to ease in price. a sale being made this morning at 13.11. .Mount Lyeils sold yesterday afternoon at £2 2 (j. Blenheim Oil shares dropped this morning, being offered at £4. but there were no buyers. Taranaki Oil shares followed next, being sold at the noon call as low as 3 9.

Business was done to-day in Waitemata 6 per cent Loan at £ lOo! ami Hamilton 4'/2 per cent Loan at £8.1 111 . Soldiers' .">'- per cent Loan were placed at i." 101 10/" and 4 1 - per cent War Loan at £!K) 13'.
