Colonel C re-swell, when -welcoming the competitor- a; the opening meeting yesterday morning. Colonel Cre-swell paid they had had many complaints from the general staff as to the manner in which riflemen were dressed on the ranges. Competitors should be attired in all mufti or all uniform, not military uniform coat and mufti trousers. Out of respect to the general staff he would like marksmen to be dres.-ed in either uniform or mufti, but not a mixture. "One year." Colonel Cre-swell added, "we had to kick one of our range olrkvr» off the range. He came out in a mi lit a. y tunic and white trousers."'
