FORBURY PARK.

HORSES WITH PROSPECTS

(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)

DUXEDIN, this day. The track at Forbury Park is in excellent order and even with a little rain it should be in first-class order for the opening day on Thursday. There is every reason to predict that the meeting will be both a financial and sporting success. The following should run prominently:^— Vauxhall Handicap: Kyra Koro, Peter Hawksbury, Pride. Electric Handicap: Dick Logan Wrackler (if he starts). Sahib. Musselburgh Handicap: Kiowa, Dilnon, Limosa. Cup: Roi L'Or, Real Light, Jean McElwyn. Southland Handicap: Neeoro, Last Pointer, John Appear. Otago Handicap: Lazarus, Commander Bingen, Wild Hebe. King George Handicap: Athalone, Kiowa, Royal Serene. Flying Handicap: Wrackler, Dundas Boy, Orphan. On their form at Wellington Kiowa and Athalone, who have not been rehandicapped for this meeting, should be very hard to beat.
