LIFE SAVING METHODS.
Seventy teachers who are undergoing a refresher course at the ..Auckland Training College spent part of this afternoon in receiving instruction,in swimming at the Maungawhau school baths. Twenty-two instructors from various life saving clubs, together with Mr. Malcolm Champion, demonstrated the proper methods of rescuing. The refresher course will go on through the week and includes lectures by medical men, physical training, and lectures in science. All branches of teachers' work is being thoroughly gone through,
