The directors of Hμ Majestj-'e Arcade and Theatre Company have forwarded to shareholders the twenty-sixth annual report and balance-sheet, which they state they consider to be highly satisfactory " >o doubt shareholders will be of the same opinion, seeing that the dividend recommended is at the rate of 15 per cent rrr annum on the ordinary shares. The gross revenue for the year was £10.991 2 3. and the expenditure left a net profit of £6135 11/2. The amount brought forward in 1827 was £769 0/5. making a total oi £WM 11/7. From thin £2900 wae paid a« an interim dividend in July. 1928. leaving £1004 11/7 available for distribution. The directors recommend the payment for the haJf-year ended December 31, 1928. of a dividend at the rate of 6*4 per <eni per annum on the preference shares, ami at the rate of 15 per cent per annum on the ordinary, leaving £1104 11/7 to be carried forward. as against £769 brought forward from 1927. In addition an amount of £3000 has been written off building* account for depreciation, and the mortgage has been reduced by £I<KW. making it now >tnm] at £2000. " Mr. B. Al.
