Broadcasting Corporation's Project. CONFEP.ENOE TO BE HELD. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 12 noon.) LONDON, January 14. The Broadcasting Corporation has reached an agreement with the Newspaper Proprietors' Association regarding the company's proposal, to use Stat* funds to launch a literary weekly to cost 2d. They have undertaken to d'-wiisa publishing proposals with the new ;iapor men and state that they would not accept more advertisements for the new weekly than would be necessary to cover the cost of production.
