STORED GOODS LOST.
FIRE AT NGARUAWAHIA
(By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.)
HAMILTON, this day
A large stable at Xgaruawahia, owned by Mrs. Roper, was gutted this morning early. The building was an old dry wooden affair, and the fire burned fiercely, completely beating the strenuous efforts of the members of the handbrigade, who worked hard. Part of the building was used to stove furniture and goods belonging to various people. The damage is estimated at £1000, without taking into account the goods that were held fn storage. The are not at present known.
