AUSTRALIAN INVESTORS.
OUTLOOK IMPROVING
"Australian investors have great faith in New Zealand, and New Zealand Government bonds are in demand," said Mr. H. J. Malmgron, a member of the Sydney Stock Exchange, who reached Auckland yesterday by the Ulimaroa, on a holiday tour. Mr. Malmgron said that Australia was experiencing a good season for pastoral products, and there was a general upward tendency and feeling that the future outlook would be bright. Financial conditions had eased. There was a large amount of speculation in the Queensland oilfields and the New Guinea goldfields, although it was regarded as something in the nature of a gamble.
