CHAMPAGNE AND BEER MISSING
Instead of Santa Claus dropping in on Mr. Balfour Irvine, of 12, Salisbury Hoad, Ponsonby, on Christmas Eve, someone else called and took what Mr. Irvine himself had bought, in the shape of three dozen bottles of champagne and three dozen bottles of ale. The liquor, which was valued at £18 18/ was removed from the cellar. It i s not known hjow entraijcg waj $£&&£
