A YOUTHFUL COUNTESS.
Attractive as the young Countess of i Searield is in London, where she is seen at ail the smart functions in and out of season, it is said she is an even more picturesque figure in her native Scotland. She inherited vast estates there, and is devoted to her own people, going about among them in an unaffected way and taking a lively interest in their doings and their welfare. Her mother, Xina Lady Seatteld, goes almost everywhere with her, and the inseparable pair are staying just now in Banffshire. Laviy Searield has a style quite her own, an<T she dresses to it. Her picture frocks are always the most distinctive in a ballroom, and as she has the kind of flawless complexion with which any colour goes well, she is able to choose beautiful tones denied to most other women.
