BRUCE CHOOSES TEAM. Labour Wins Herbert Seat In Queensland. ONE STILL IN DOUBT. (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Mr. S. M. Bruce announces the reconstruction of the Federal Cabinet. Mr. W. C. Hill, the Minister of Public Works and Railways,. and Senator Crawford, Assistant Minister, have resigned. They are replaced by Mr. C. L. Abbott, a New South Wales Senator, and Mr. J. E. Ogden, of Tasmania. The Cabinet will now be composed of:— Mr. S. M. Bruce, Prime Minister, Minister of External Affairs and Territories. Dr. Earle Page, Treasurer. Sir George F. Pearce, Vice-President of the Executive Council. Mr. J. G. Latham, Attorney-General and Minister for the Industry Department. Mr. H. S. Gullett, Minister of Customs. Mr. W. G. Gibson, Postmaster-General and Minister of Works. Sir Neville Howse, Minister of Health and Repatriation. Sir William Glasgow, Minister of Defence. Mr. Abbott, Minister of Home Affairs. Mr. T. Paterson, Minister of Markets and Transport. Major C. W. Marr and Senator McLachlan, Honorary Ministers. Mr. J. E. Ogden, Assistant Minister of Industry. The Herbert Federal seat in Queensland is regarded as definitely lost to the Government. Mr. Martens (Lab.) polled 25,359 votes and Mr. Nott (Nationalist) 25,232. The only seat now in doubt is Boothby, South Australia, where Mr. Price (Lab.) 20,760, leads Mr. Hughes (Nationalist) by 96.
