AMUSEMENTS.
DIXIELAND CABARET. Patrons of the Dixieland Cabaret, Point Chevalier, will learn with regret that the papular manager, Mr. N. Loveridge, will end his engagement with the cabaret thi# week. HI health has caused him to resign, and after hie capable managership of over three years, patrons will miee his obliging personality, which hae made him the most popular manager that the cabaret has ever had. One of the qualities which made Mr. Loveridge euch a gopular managing director wae his earnest desire to pleaee everybody, and one could always be assured of careful personal attention, whenever one attended the cabaret. Mr. Loveridge proposes to epend a couple of months in Sydney before be attempte work again. On Saturday night there wae a big crowd at the cabaret, and a bright and merry evening was spent. The cabaret hae been entirely redecorated, and novel new lighting effects have been introduced. This evening dancing will be held when music will be supplied by the DirieijHid Dance Band, under Mr. Harry Neileon. All the latest dance hits will be played.
