TAURANGA.
Some magnificent blooms were shown at the summer show of the Tauranga Beautifying and Horticultural Society. The championship -was awarded to Mrs. T. C. Maltby. A fine collection of flowers was exhibited by Captain Dorling, of Auckland. The principal prize winners were:— Roses. —Mesdames H. P. Clarke, L. Blomquist, W. Douglas, T. C. Maltby, and Mr. R. H. Cazalet. Sweet peas: Mrs, Douglas and Mr. Wiltshire. Carnations: Mrs. Teasey. Gladioli: Miss Jean Cameron and Mr. R. H. Cazalet. Collections of flowers: M«sdamee W. Douglas. Pascoe, H. P. Clarke.
