MISSTATEMENT BY MRS. YOUNG.

WELLINGTON, this day.

At her meeting held in Wellington on November 5 Mrs. M. Young stated that the Waihi strike was engineered by Mr. Holland and Mr. Semple. The Press Association has since been informed that neither Mr. Holland nor Mr. Semple was in New Zealand at the time referred to, and it much regrets any inconvenience that may have been caused by the publication of the statement.
