BUNGALOW ON FIRE.

GOOD SAVE AT ONEHUHGA.

OCCUPANTS IN AUCKLAND.

A fire broke out at 12.30 p.m. to-day in a bungalow in Namata Road, Oneliunga, which was occupied by Constable Olver and owned by Mrs. Thom, of Athens isoad. The fire started in the wash-house just after the occupants had left for Auckland.

Responding promptly to a call, the Onehunga Fire Brigade effected an excellent save, the damage being confined to the wash-house and one back room. The house is insured for £800 and the furniture for £50, both covers being in the Hartford office.
