FATALITY ON RAILWAY.
SHUNTER KILLED INSTANTLY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CARTERTON, this day. An accident which occurred at Featherston station yards this morning resulted lr > the death of Frederick C. Whiterod, a shunter, aged about 40 years. He was < u;;aged backing some trucks, and it is supposed that he flipped and fell, a ui'k passing over his body, which was ■ J'-.'flitfully mutilated, death being instantaneous. He leaves a widow and family of fiv®.
