Mr. A. \V. Gillies arrived fror Oamaru by the Limited express thi morning. Mr. A. G. Bignell, chairman of tli Wanganui Harbour Board, is visitin Auckland. He is at the Grand. Mr. A. McNeil, business agent for th New Zealand Railways, arrived by tli Limited express from Wellington thi morning, on departmental business. Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Simson (Hastingsl Mr. J. L. Lowe (Havelock North), Mr. V» J. MeKeown (Timaru), and Mr. I Brewer (Te Kuiti) are staying at Hot£ Cargen. Mr. B. M. Wilson, Lreneral manage of the New Zealand Government Touris Department, was a passenger from Wei lington by the Limited express thi morning. Staying at the Albert Hotel are Mr. V> B. Watson (Wellington), Mr. J. F. Ham mon (Palmerston North), Mr. H. Carne (Sydney). Mr. O. Y. Finch (Dargaville and Mr. J. Cummings (Matamata). Guests at the Central Hotel include Mr. S. D. Ludbrook (Gisborne). Mr. A. I Powdrell and Mr. W. F. G. Price (We! lington), Mr. R. S. Coleman (Dargaville and Mr. H. A. Goudie (Rotorua). Among the guests at the Grand Hot< are Mr. and Mrs. G. Beamish Whit (Leigh), Mr. Z. Wilson (Hawke's Bay Mr. A. G. Bignell (Wanganui), Mr. I Murray Keen (Wellington), and Mr. ( A. Torogate (Sheffield). Mr. H. P. H. Hobson, coaching fon man for the New Zealand Railways, i Grevmouth. has been transferred to similiar position.at Wellington. Mi Hobson was stationed at Auckland f( some years.
