The election campaign in Waimarino Iβ now in full swing, and meetings have been addressed by Mr. J. Georgetti and Mr. R. W. Smith this week. Mr. Georgetti, who is standing as an Independent, dealt mainly with the land question. Mr. Smith, who is standing as an Independent Liberal, dealt with various problems affecting the district, particularly timber. Mr. Georgetti was accorded a vote of thanks, and Mr. Smith a vote of thanks and confidence. ■ mmiimiiii I-.T
